Piercing – what to expect on the day

The ear piercing procedure takes place within the shop. Before the procedure begins, you will be asked to fill out a consent form. For those aged under 16, a parent or guardian must sign on behalf of the customer.

You will then be asked to choose the earrings you wish to wear.

You will be advised to sit down and relax.

In the case of babies, the parent is advised to sit down comfortably with the baby in their lap and hold the arms in close to the body.

The licensed piercer will wear a pair of gloves and apply an antiseptic, non-alcoholic wipe on the ears.

He will then draw a dot on the lobes with a non-toxic water-based pen. The licensed piercer will show you the position of the dot to confirm that you are happy with it.  This step will be repeated until you are completely satisfied with the position.

Using a gun, the piercer will pierce each lobe one by one. The earrings used are sterile and placed into the gun directly from the pack with minimal handling.

He will then apply the after care lotion to each pierced ear.

And that’s it!
